How to support us

There are many ways you can support us in our work.

Whether that’s funding a specific programme, supplying us with equipment (we always need to source new items to train our young people such as protective equipment or tools), taking on one of our trained participants as an apprentice or simply volunteering your time we’d love you to help.

Please drop us a line or give us a call 0151 673 2221 to have a chat about how you can get involved.

If you’re a local employer, please see below to find out more about how we can help with your social value and ESG commitments.

Become an
industry partner

Our industry partners are vital to our success. By working together we’re able to deliver education and real-world training to people in the skills and careers needed most within our region. In return, local employers have access to a large pool of much-needed skilled and work-ready young people and adults.

We work with everyone looking to fill job vacancies from national tier one construction companies and their supply chain to regional and local trades, housing organisations and the NHS placing people in a variety of careers. You can see the difference we make in our case studies.

I’m trying to get an apprenticeship as a plumber and when the employer day came nothing really was there that I wanted to do so I was bit down… But Paul and Pete have been trying to get me sorted and I’ve just done 3 weeks work experience with HMS and the facilities team… I’m hoping that when they advertise for apprentices in March this will help.

Dylan – Sefton@Work – Work Experience at HMS

I’m not daft but I was doing daft things in school and eventually they got fed up and I had to move… the next school was even worse so I stopped going and was just stuck hanging round really…. Paul knew me from a few years ago and through people I know round here I found out about NLB … Paul made me come and I’m glad he did…. In the last month I’ve been offered 2 jobs and have just started with STC.
